Discursive Landscapes is a series of large-scale drawings and site-specific performances inspired by Stuart Hall’s identity discourse and rising sea levels. Through the act of “erasing” local Santa Cruz landmarks such as Natural Bridges with ocean water, this project questions the legitimacy of an identity constructed upon temporality.
